About the Artist
Hi! My name is Rhi, and I’m a pet portrait and wildlife artist based in the beautiful countryside of Shropshire, UK. My small hobby-turned-business was born of a lifelong love of animals and the joy of capturing their unique personalities on paper and canvas.

I’ve been passionate about drawing since I was very young—my earliest drawings were of my favourite book covers, anime characters, and video game heroes. Over the years, that passion grew into something more, and I went on to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Fine Art at college, which gave me the foundation and confidence to explore different mediums and styles.

Like many artists, I found my creative stride in 2020, when the world slowed down and I suddenly had a lot more time on my hands. I picked up my brushes and began experimenting with acrylic painting on canvas—a medium I hadn’t really tried before. From those first pieces, I discovered how much I loved bringing animals to life through art.

Today, I use a variety of mediums, and my work is all about celebrating the bond we share with animals. Each commission is deeply personal, whether it’s a heartfelt portrait of a beloved pet or a striking study of wildlife. I take pride in creating artwork that not only captures a likeness but also tells a story—something meaningful that can be cherished for years to come.
